Great app. I've been waiting for this since I've never been able to get NetworkManger to work. I only have a small problem, which might be attributed to my sessions not being closed down properly but I get two instances each login (ie two icons in my taskbar). One is usually called wicd-client-kde whilst the other is a kdeinit/kdesession instance.

Well, a minor bug for something great. Keep it up. - Sep 12 2010

You should add a direct link to the source package, for people who want to compile for themselves. - May 02 2007

I'm sorry for spamming, but I can't seem to find an edit button. Also, disregard my previous post, it seems like the {backarrows} ends the post. Hence, this is the last part of the patch:

Great app. The only annoyance is that it can't open "pure" .tar files. Since the earning of compressing for example jpges is very small (some few percent), and the extra time needed to uncompress to view the archive therefor is uneeded, it would make sense to implement such a feature.

I managed to make a patch (without any real programming skills) if anyone else would be interested:

After some use, there are a couple of things that annoy me.

1. Adding multiple torrents. You have to add them one at a time.

2. Browsing for torrent/place to save the file. These are not separate, that is, you open a torrent and when you select a place to save, it "remembers" the torrent folder. So with several files you need to switch folders back and forth. I have a separate folder where I save all my torrents, it would be nice if "open torrent" would default to that folder.

3. Queue system. I've found no way, except disabling queue control, to shift download priority. If I for example add a couple of files and then decide I want to download that last file firt, there is no way (that I've found) to do that unless I disable the whole queue.

As I stated in my previous post, this is a great program though. These are just some thoughts. - Nov 11 2006
Wow. Beautiful, swift and thought-through. The best torrent client I've seen. Just keep adding features and I will stay VERY content :) - Nov 09 2006
