Most difficult one is Yaru 'cause of combining 2 colors, that is why I started all this. The intention was to make Materia-based themes just for Ubuntu and Manjaro, no more, to match the look of respective Kvantum themes. - Nov 05 2020

I wiped my .theme directory, downloaded and applied literally every theme and all look perfectly fine.
Checkboxes are OK.

Hi! This is planned in the form of Aqua Dark (not orange, I mean like this but dark one) but it's going to be more difficult than it was for the light theme.
I also need to tune this one, it's not that similar to GTK style. Materia needs attention, too.
In case of no major distractions maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be able to present Yaru-Aqua-Dark, I hope. - May 28 2020

Yeah, I've been thinking about that for a couple of days already since I found out that orange isn't that great for Materia style, it looks kinda alien, but I'm afraid that the purple dominance would make this theme too "cartoonish". I have a strong feeling that this color is good for small blocks, not big areas.

Yeah that's the way it should be:
1. It's basically Materia theme with teal accent and some slight color amendments (like replacement of pure eye-piercing white with more soft white-grey).
2. These themes were generated with Materia's `change_color.sh` script. This is not a thorough rework of the original theme. The name "materia-compact" derives from the style selected during the script run. I can select regular or both if you want. - Mar 29 2020

Oh, our perception is very different then, to me #00cfcfis isn't bright at all, I'd call it quite dark aqua color. Also, the idea was to make a kinda analog to GTK theme, and this selection color is one of the basic colors, changing it would break visual consistency with the original GTK theme.

Regarding white symbolic icons, I guess you have some icon theme for dark backgrounds, but anyway, I couldn't reproduce the issue you are talking about. I've added 1 more screenshot to illustrate my words better. - Mar 26 2020
