You also need to already have the Numix theme installed. Really? Can't just create the needed directory or file? - Aug 25 2016
Apparently you have to install sass, yet another tool for building in Linux. I remember when you had all the tools needed, and the only thing to worry about was missing libraries. - Aug 25 2016

I really wanted to download, but I kept getting errors about the link. Finally went directly to sourceforge and got this message after searching.

The website is temporarily in static offline mode.
Only a very limited set of project pages are available until the main website returns to service.

I'll have to remember to come back and try again sometime. - Aug 25 2016

Yes, I typed in all caps on purpose.
When you are redirected the first time, scroll down to the smaller Download button. The big Download button redirects to a malicious website. - Sep 09 2013

I did some searching and it appears that for Kubuntu the package is plasma-scriptengine-python instead of kdebase-workspace-python-applet. I already had plasma-scriptengine-python, so I'm still not sure what the issue is.

I was really hoping for a volume control that does not default to the maximum of 100%. Pulse Audio Volume Control allows the volume to go up to 153%, but does not have a widget, gadget, applet for the panel. - Apr 28 2013
I received this message (below) when try to install one of the suggested packages. Do you know if it has been renamed? I was able to install the other python package.

I apologize that a made a newbie mistake and blamed the author. Apparently, desktop.theme files are not required. You have to close Tweak Tool and reopen it. You may even have to do this twice. Additionally, you may have to re-enable Use Themes in extension even if you have already. For some reason mine was turned off. I'll leave the above stupid comment, so others may learn from my ignorance. - Apr 14 2013
There is no desktop.theme file. I can't install a theme without it. I would have to create the file, but I just haven't gotten to creating those files.

That's why I'm here! - Apr 14 2013

Is anyone else having problems finding the theme after being redirected to DevianArt. Why not just upload it here? - Apr 14 2013

Your instructions from the pop up make no sense. There is no You > Your account, so the rest is meaningless. I have authorized plasma on Flickr and have turned off Safe Search, yet I still receive the confusing instructions that pop up three times. The pop ups are also modal system wide, so one has to close them before doing anything else on one's computer. - Apr 01 2013

Why are there advertisements in this widget? The code you used is Creative Commons and does not have advertisements. - Dec 17 2012

I have the same problem. I installed the theme from System Settings. I clicked on Get New Themes, selected this theme, and clicked Install. It installed the theme and shows as installed in the Get Hot New Stuff dialog box, but does not show up as a theme in Desktop Theme of System Manager.

I will try uninstalling and reinstalling, then quitting and restarting System Settings. I will update my progress if someone comments on this comment. - Dec 13 2012

I decided to try an Oxygen theme for Firefox and found Oxygen KDE 3.9.1 by searching add-ons on the about:addons page in Firefox. I clicked to install from and downloaded it. The indicator showed it fully downloaded, but it would not continue from there. I am using Mozilla Firefox 15.0 for Ubuntu (canonical 1.0) on KDE 4.8.5 on Ubuntu Release 12.04 (precise) 64-bit, Kernel Linux 3.2.0-31-generic, GNOME 3.4.2. - Sep 09 2012
