I reckon it wouldn't take that much modification to get it working on he xfce panel... At the end of the day it's only a popup window and from what I know it's quite easy to write xfce applets. - Jul 09 2006

No didn't attempt spiftacity... I tried XGL for a while, wasn't impressed when Java swing apps didn't work quite well... So decided to ditch metacity for xfwm4 (xfce 4.3 I think), as it has out the box compositing, so need for Xorg-air - Jul 08 2006

Easy! I found that slab (the menu) was put into CVS, I thought about compiling then instead found a deb package!
