Goes great with this theme:

I just need to find an icon set to match, a green glass/gloss/ice set would work well. Any suggestions? - Aug 10 2008

GTK2 Themes by Chrispy 85 comments

I'm trying to install this, but it keeps telling me:
checking for x86_64-linux-gnu-pkg-config... no
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for GTK... no
configure: error: GTK+-2.10 is required to compile excelsior
make: *** [config.status] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: failure: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2

I really don't know what to do at this point. I had a few other dependency issues earlier, but solved them only to reach another, thicker brick wall.

Additionally, I have "no"'s from checking for x86_64-linux-gnu-g77... no
through checking if x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc supports -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions... no

Clearly there is something very important I am missing, help?

I did as you asked, and it didn't seem to work. I didn't really pay attention to it again until recently, but the pull downs in firefox definitely seem to be fine now. The text is white now.

Still odd that some programs have a blue menubar, while others have black... and of the black ones some become green when highlighted while others become blue. I don't mind at all, I just notice these sorts of little things. Oddly, I probably prefer it like this.

Thanks for the help, and the eyecandy. - Jan 13 2008

There's a screenshot and more relevant information... I've combined a few themes - like I have some vista-like theme through emerald... but your theme is the base for the panels and apparently toolbars. - Jan 11 2008

I don't know if you can help, but the background for the panels has been extrapolated to my firefox menu background... yet the firefox menu's still have black text. Other programs have regular grey menu backgrounds, and the file manager has a blue background for the menu (the actual drop downs are fine... just the BG before clicking). Is there something I can do to make the firefox menu blue too? - Jan 11 2008
