Various KDE 1.-4. Styles by kol 130 comments

I created the icon set, but how do change the background of the app from grey to light color you use (eeeee6) and how do change the font in the menus? where is that set?

Thanks - Aug 18 2003

That's IceWM's panel. Usually, if you have KDE panel, you don't use ICE's. I am using Ice's sometimes, so I turned off KDE one. - Jun 17 2003

Thank you, I sent you an email and hopefully once we resolve (if we can) the issues, we can include a KWin specific version... - Apr 22 2003

Thanks. I am suing SNAP. It's included in the theme. default.theme file has instructions for installation if you need them. Also, on the bottom of the theme, you can see where the fonts are set, so if ever you want to change them, it's easy to do.

I fixed the top elements a little bit. Hopefully this might help. However, I think that there seems to be incompatibility between KWin and IceWM. Probably would have to file a bug with them. - Apr 20 2003

Hi. I am aware of this problem. You are not running ICEWM but Native KDE window manager? It seems that native KDE does not interpret a command in default.theme correctly. I will try to come up with a way to fix this weekend.

If you could provide a screenshot, that would be great. I don't have native at the moment, so can't test, but this is related to the pixel value for resize in IceWM. Seems that value is reinterpret to mean the size of top element.

Try to run IceWM and see if the problem persists. I also recommend using CVS icewm because it has the fixes for Rolled up windows. There might be an issue with rolled up windows looking like some pixels are gone. CVS (after 1.2.7) fixes those issues. i'll try to fix the issue you're having too. - Apr 18 2003

Hi. Thanks. I suppose it is possbile. I like the squarish look, but if you want, you can do this with the border (ATL and ATR frame elements), but that would only give you 3 pixels to work with. To make it roundish, you might need to make the border thicker... - Apr 16 2003

Font is SNAP from Artwiz. It's included in the theme snap.pcf.gz. default.theme lists the directions for installing it. - Apr 16 2003
