I tried version 2.0.8 on Ubuntu 21.04 and I see the following (I had to logout/login though).
Just tell me if you see the same or not.

Ok glow border:

* Bitwarden & Slack: I have conflicts and am not able to install them just now

Chrome indeed has the problem

In 2.0.5 the jumpy bug when switching to another window should be fixed. Gradients, transparencies, blue outline and buttons glow were removed between 2.0.1 and 2.0.5. Still working on glowing border on all app. - Jun 15 2021

* changed selection background color (vivid to darker blue)
