Debian woody package of SuperKaramba

Karamba & Superkaramba by prichards 52 comments

hi yeah the error message is to do with linking the help files.

in the rules file u have to hash out :

# dh_installdocs

like above. i think its line 79. after doing that it wont give errors about the .dhelp file.

moto if u still want what i was doing i can forward it on to you. - May 17 2003

the link to download is:

vick was going on about compiling it from source not using the .deb that on this page it does compile following vick21's advice.

arrgh just made the package and its been updated to 0.22 now argh.. ill remake a package. and post here shortly - May 05 2003

jstarship. i could come in and help.

is kde written in c++ if so yeah i can help. Im not brilliant but if soem one can give me some instructions on kde development the basics then we can get this rolling. BUt im final year uni so have a lot of other crap going on around me so might not be able to spend a heck of a lot of time on it. mosfet's help would be appreciated.. mosfet you listening ??

so jstarship / fop start up a sour ceforge project maybe kde developers will step in and give guidance too. This will be excellent.

fop man your idea might become a reality woohoo.. - Nov 24 2002

really nice idea.

i aint got no complaints its original thats what i like about it. and very nice looking it infact reminds me a bit of suns gui. But very different, still.

[rant -- ignore not intended as flame bait or whatever just me getting fed up of a few windows users i know]

why do windows users expect linux to conform to windows ?

the further away linux gui's goes away from windows look and feel and establish their own look and feel the happier ill be.

It will show hey linux aint a windows clone. Linux has nothing to do with windows. but hey thats my opinion.

go to style / select keramik
go to effects set the menu effect to make translucent then below menu transluiceny type becomes available, select either xrender / or software blend and there you have it. see transparancey - Jun 04 2002
