You need to install the kdelibs header files. The package is usually called kdelibs-devel although aome distros use slightly different names. - Nov 10 2006

After you drag and drop, then resize the panel, there shouldn't be anything alse to do.If you change the panel size thoug, it will look wierd because the buttons are not resizeable. - Nov 24 2005
When you create a new launcher or edit an existing one, there is usually an icon of a KDE gear or a preset application icon. Click on that and you will get a dialogue box that will enable you to select a different icon for your launcher. My LQ username is reddazz. - Nov 24 2005
I got it from Search for "emensity". - Nov 24 2005
I simply drag and drop it on top of a kbfx button thats already in use and edit the panel preferences (kicker) so that its normal size. Can you post a screenshot somewhere so that I get a better idea of your problem. For a nicer appearance, you may also need to disable applet handles in the panel. - Nov 23 2005
You can log out of your session and back in again or resize kicker to normal size. - Nov 23 2005
I am using Liquid weather++ and Cynpases. Liquid weather++ is using the cynapses skin. - Nov 23 2005

I used the Firefox icon from here I didn't change the default icon, I just created a launcher for firefox and then selected the icon I wanted from the ones I downloaded from this site to use with the launcher.

Depending on how you installed firefox, you can make an icon and name it firefox.png and copy it to /usr/share/icons, /usr/share/pixmaps or your firefox directory and that should change the firefox icon globally. - Nov 23 2005

I have to take back my comment above, I have looked at the screenshot and it looks great with a lighter shade of red than I had used. - Nov 22 2005
I tried the red button and it spoils the theme, so I won't proceeed with it. Its just not visually appealing. - Nov 22 2005
I meant that the maximise and minimise buttons should be different so that you know when a window is maximised or minimised. - Nov 21 2005
I like this theme a lot. I think maybe you could do an alternative version with a red close button and a different graphic for maximise and minimise. I will also try and work on this, but I am not good with inkscape. - Nov 21 2005

Thanks for the custom menu stripe color picker. What do you think about making the default color come from the users current color scheme like in version 0.90. - Dec 04 2004
you can use gtk-qt engine. just search on this site and you'll find it. - Dec 01 2004
I agree with you. If these two developers worked together they could come up with a very good plastik based theme and hopefully their efforts could be contributed to the official version. - Nov 28 2004

I'm not much of a developer, but whilst you were adapting lipstick, you left all the files named as lipstick*. Why don't you change those to Krisp* so that it doesn't uninstall lipstick. - Nov 30 2004
Your screenshots look great, but this theme seems to overwrite lipstick in my control panel menu. My control panel also crashes when I try to use your theme on Slack 10. - Nov 30 2004
