this is great, its been a long time looking for a way to recreate the effect u created here without using gnomenu because it isnt stable with me, but the problem with your method is that all the icons come out, and not just the menu icon. now obviously that's not your fault, i guess what i'm wondering is if u know a way to set those icons smaller, or if u know any other method to recreate this effect - Jun 07 2009

compiz. adding the word normal to opacity windows list. apparently videos stay transparent also, and there was someway to fix that but i didnt get that far... still enjoying the initial discovery lol - May 15 2009

is the window permanently transparent? or did u set it so for the preview. I've always wanted to have windows be completely transparent (not just the titlebar)

yea, these are great, thanks. i'll admit that i just wanted that "diffuse" effect (im assuming thats what it's called) that you have in this theme. it looks great with this emerald theme im using.

by the way, the new cairo-dock configuration menu has that transparency in other parts of the window.......so if anyone is in here reading along, that's what i was talkin about. still trying to get it in other windows - May 08 2009
