On SuSE 9.3, had the same problem. After some trial and error I could finally compile by downloading the source for libdvdread 0.9.4, install it and copy header file dvd_udf.h manually to /usr/include/dvdread.

However when I try to backup a DVD, KDVDBackup dies with:

ibdvdread: Get key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_13_1.VOB at 0x003f27fd

Various KDE Stuff by liucougar 43 comments

I installed scim 1.0.1 + scim-hangul 0.1.2
+ scim-tables-ko 0.4.3
and then compiled skim 1.0.2.

In non-KDE applications and in Konsole skim works ok. But in for example Kate and Kmail the first Hangul character I type is shown as a dotted square, as if the proper font is missing. When I type the second character so that it becomes a composite Hangul character, it gets normal.
For example from the following text, the first character is shown incorrect in Kate, the second (composite) ok:
ㅇ 아

Does somebody now how to solve this? - Dec 21 2004
