Hi. Can you release the theme you mentioned? I would like to try if it looks better than the other QtCurve elementary-style themes. - Jan 07 2013

XFCE/XFWM4 Themes by golan 15 comments

Whoops :D
Just noticed the icon theme is originally done by Sora. But that doesn't mean it isn't still a great theme too. I also sadly noticed that this theme isn't updated to gtk-3.6 according to this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151910.
Or can there be an other reason for theme to break down like that? - Dec 31 2012

I just wanted to say that this theme and your icon theme are easily comparable to two other great linux themes, elementary and Faenza. The theme itself is very professionally made, just like the icon theme too. By that I mean it's really polished and carefully done. - Dec 31 2012

Very nice looking and for a change, a light colored theme. It also seems a bit more polished and "professional" than some other themes. - May 15 2012

Very nice theme. I'm using KDE at the moment, but I think I'll switch to GNOME for a while to try this theme. I was also wondering what font and font settings do you use in those screenshots? - Dec 18 2011

KDE 4 Splashscreens by codicem 23 comments

Nice theme, but please upload it to a server from where it can be downloaded without going to a website first. Then it would be possible to install it straight from the Splash Screen System Settings page and not going here. Also only use .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 suffixes, else System Settings can't see the file. - Aug 21 2011
Adwaita-White

Gnome Shell Themes by oberon27 20 comments

I use this theme with Adwaita and it's a perfect fit. Though I didn't like the original colors in panel, run dialog and the workspaces background, so I modified them to the same colors as the other white areas. Now I think it's even better. - Jun 07 2011

Nice theme, but I can't test it because tar and file roller say it's not a gzip file. - Nov 27 2010

If I extract the icon set like it is said in the instruction file, the icon theme does not show in the KDE system settings. If I set it manually to the gtkrc-2.0 file, icons work in GTK programs. - Jun 29 2010

Great icon set. I think this, Meliae and Elementary are the three best icon sets. But please make it work in KDE also. It shouldn't be impossible, because Meliae and Elementary work too both on Gnome and KDE. - Jun 29 2010

Very nice icon, though it looks like the original Safari icon from mac osx. But that doesn't bother me, because I like it more than the original Chrome or Chromium icon, which I think is ugly. - Mar 31 2010

May I ask what style and font you're using on those screenshots? It looks really nice with your icons. And what settings you have set for fonts?

Btw, nice work on those icons :) - Nov 17 2007

Why don't you join forces with Soundkonverters developer?
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=29024

That's the app, and it seems very promising. I don't think there is reason to do many competing programs, when you can join and make one good. - Oct 04 2005

Audio Extractors/Converters by HessiJames 608 comments

I came up with a couple new suggestions to include in planned features.

1. When converting, have an option to put all the files to same dir, but do a subdir there, which is named as artist - album, or anything user selects. One option could be to use the same name as original folder.

2. ReplayGain support. I have not come across anything in Linux, which can scan my music files to make use of ReplayGain, like in foobar.

If you implement these, I'll donate you something :)
And then I can toss foobar2000 away, and use only Gentoo. - Sep 29 2005

Audio Extractors/Converters by HessiJames 608 comments

Maybe I didn't explain it very clearly. What I meant with that, is you can add your own output format's by specifying a program to use, like '/usr/bin/mppenc', and providing command line options for it. There is that kind of thing in Grip, and if I remember right, also in Kaudiocreator too. - Sep 28 2005

Audio Extractors/Converters by HessiJames 608 comments

Just wanted to say that this is best sound converter program for linux. It does what I had to use foobar for before. Converting flac to mpc, converting files to mp3 to put them in my mp3-player. What I would want to see in future versions, is more options. Maybe an option for commandline output format, so you can use anything you like for output.
Very, very promising :) - Sep 27 2005

Seems like a veru nice program to me. I have been longing to see something like Foobars converting function, which is still best. Linux doesn't have a good audio format converter yet, maybe this will be one :)
I would like to see musepack, and monkey's audio also, if you have time to implement them. - Sep 12 2005
