Theres nothing wrong with the configuration dialogue of Konqueror, the only problem I ever had with it was trying to change the homepage, but I soon realised that you have to change it another way. I certainly would prefere it to an IE style options window. - Feb 07 2004

This new feature would be very good. It would look nicer than the current login manager, however there are some things I would change:

*Go, Clear, Menu and Shutdown buttons should be closer to the login dialogue (I'm lazy and moving my mouse too much would be a bother)

*It needs optional personal display pictures, people like to change those things when they're bored.

*The KDE symbol needs to be changable so that people can put company or distro logos up there

*The writing should be below the symbol

*For the sake of customizability widgets should be KDE styles, not transparent boxes

*An anologue clock would look much nicer in the bottom left hand corner

This looks very nice, I think i like the normal kicker just as much though. There is no real advantage of using this over the normal kicker, it's just eye candy in my opinion. - Feb 01 2004
