It would be really nice to translate this application. From the very beginning, all strings inside are wrapped with tr(). So, it will be easy to translate it.

I will only need to add the translation support to the main().

The spaced repetition study method will be released with the upcoming version 0.4 (will be released around 20 Nov 2008). This feature is already implemented, you can look at the latest version from svn:

Spaced repetition remembers what words you know and how well, and schedules them accordingly for the next repetitions.

The multiple choice test is planned for the 0.5 release.

KWordQuiz has different tests based on flashcards, quite nice program. Though I didn't use it much. As I understand, it will be replaced with Parley in KDE4.
Now it is too early to compare Fresh Memory with other flashcard-based tools, since FM is under development. But in plans, the goal of Fresh Memory is not just to browse a list of flashcards, but to implement an adaptive scheduling of the study material in order to optimize the spaced repetition. I will consider adding multimedia extensions to the flashcards. As well am planning to implement "multi-side" flashcards, so that it would be possible to use several languages on the same card.

Now, however I am trying to develop an adaptive scheduling of the cards for version 0.4. The scheduling system would be capable to take into account your level of knowledge and adjust the card displaying probabilities accordingly. - Nov 29 2007
