just simply , open the terminal , type $ sudo gnome-open /opt/ibm/lotus/Symphony/framework/shared/eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.symphony.standard.launcher.linux.x86_2.0.0.20100823-2000/icons replace the default icon with my modified icon.

So you can do the way I did I've installed 'wmctrl' package and created panel launcher with command: wmctrl -c :ACTIVE: and placed it at right-top corner of screen.
