I know that problem, but it's not my fault. It's because of Thunderbirds bad Widget-Abstraction (Thunderbird is not a native GTK Application), the problem is also the case with firefox v2, with v3 not, because it has a better abstraction. To fix the issue you'll either have to set the GtkMenubar::shadow-type and the GtkToolbar::shadow-type to GTK_SHADOW_NONE or wait for thunderbird 3. - Aug 29 2008

dunno, why this happens, but you can delete an re-extract the archive, or manually add the missing files via:

cp /usr/share/libtool/config.{guess,sub} .

or

cp /usr/share/libtool/libltdl/config.{guess,sub} . - Aug 28 2008

I've found a patch for this on the nautilus mailing list.

I uploaded it to my homepage.

http://www.nanolx.org/nauti_04_split_side_panel.patch

I'm currently using Nautilus 2.23, but it should also work with 2.22.

Download the source.

cd nautilus-x.xx.x

patch -Np0 -i ../nauti_04_split_side_panel.patch

aclocal
autoheader
autoconf
automake

./configure --prefix=/usr

make

sudo make install [or] su -c "make install"

That should be it. - Aug 14 2008

You should update to Oxygen Refit 2 [Which is almost finished - I'll release 2.0.0 today or tomorrow].

Did you just modify colors or also other things? If so it would be nice to know which Icons you modified, so that they can be reviewed and perhaps included in the "official" version. - Jun 19 2008

Either way I don't really care about that. - Jun 13 2008

Quote:1. In Nautilus when zoom folder from 100 % to 150 % i get too big folder-icons. (in the indeks.theme-file I changed type: Fixed to Scalable and I renamed 128x128 to scalable).

2. I can't see any full trash-icon on desktop ? (installed "Ubuntu Tweak" to show folder on desktop).

3. In the home-folder the "Examples" icon inherits "emblem-nowrite" from Tango, Gnome icon-set. Plese add a emblem "emblem-nowrite" which link to "emblem-readonly".

4. In the home-folder the "Desktop" icon inherits "deskop-emblem" from Tango, Gnome icon-set. It's look very ogly. You should replace it with a empty icon like in gOS.

5. Why has emblems 32x32 and 48x48 128-pixel size? (I have changed them to 32x32 and 48x48).

This is just an alpha release. I will add missing sizes/icons in the next releases. - May 24 2008

Of course you have glibc installed, I'm sure the problem is just, that yours too old. I'm using SID [Unstable] and it's glibc is 2.7-10. If you use Etch [Stable] or Lenny [Testing] or not Debian [eg. Ubuntu] your version will vary. - May 09 2008

Quote:Also please justify any votes, it's really annoying when people vote things down without saying why.

In Germany we say: "Was der Bauer nicht kennt, dass frisst er nicht"

This means something like: "What you don't know you don't like" That's why your first attempt was voted _that_ down.

Just don't listen to that Kevins wearing blinkers and go on. - Apr 27 2008
