Clearplastic Gnome

Wasn't very clear. =/ Anywho...
The mockup is pretty good. Seems like Aero, though. Also, why is there Ubuntu's logo on there? Why not a distro-neutral GNOME logo? - Jan 08 2006

Can you put up a larger image? What you put up is too small to analyse. =/ - Jan 08 2006

Your screenshots tell nothing about the theme. Open some Nautilus windows and/or Firefox. Let us see the whole thing and not just a desktop and a hard-to-see taskbar. - Dec 28 2005

Well, I looked in the XML file, and I fixed the prelight/pressed issue. You can download a fixed package here: http://mikelim0.cjb.net:1337/knuxt15/TangoMetacity.tar.bz - Dec 14 2005

Well for one thing, this Metacity theme is nice and clean. I think it's really neat! However, I have two main gripes:
-Doesn't use the GTK theme colors (this has been said already)
-Window control buttons do not highlight on mouseover, or show any animation when clicked. This shouldn't be too hard to do, just look at some other Metacity themes for reference. - Dec 14 2005

On the subject of menu bars, if the toolbar got too long then the menu bar would go up to not be in the way. - Nov 23 2005

After checking that site, they have 3 archives of icons already in .PNG format, one of them with 1400, another with 1000, and one with Microsoft Office's icons. - Sep 10 2005

So this is going to be the newest incarnation of your nuoveXT theme? It looks lovely!

I can't wait to see the finished set! I hope it won't feel incomplete like a lot of other colorful sets out there. - Aug 28 2005

Sooo, you don't want a product geared at making Linux more "familiar" interface-wise to Windows users that don't understand 95% of what a computer does?

Besides, some people do like it. That's not a sin. - Jun 21 2005

Dang, I wanted to edit my previous comment. Ah well, a double post will have to do.

You have any full-size screenshots? These screenshots look cropped so I can't see the full detail or read any of the text. - Jun 17 2005

This looks very nice! Maybe you should show this to the devs of PHLAK, and let them use this instead of the old and broken XPDE code for their customized desktop manager, Sneaky. It would be cool :)

I'll have to check this out - Jun 17 2005

These icons look really nice, I think I'll use these in place of Bluecurve from now on!
Just one quick question, where can I find the wallpaper shown in the second screenshot? - Jun 02 2005
