Amarok Themes by TheRob 23 comments

Howdy mate!

Yeah I thought about that, but then again,
I change my settings really often so
it would look almost completely different
every time, and I'm not about to spam
this site with bespin configs :D

The bespin config is pretty self explanatory
anyway :)

The parts that stays the same for a longer
period I usually upload here, like this
and the amarok theme, and then the
dekorator....

I sure can provide a snapshot of my
bespin config here if someone wants it.

Thx for the compliments tho! I usually
when I'm bored try to do smth in inkscape
or modify some settings just for fun.

Just wanted to point out that you are doing
a good job and a lot of people are grateful,
and use this set.

I know it can be frustrating at times
to make a full icon set as there are literally
thousands of icons.

isnt that a major pain in the ass?!?!?!?!
I don't know how many times that has
happened to me, nowadays, anything I post
here, before I press "send" or "committ"
or whatev, I copy the contents to the
clipboard.

Nice themes also, good to have a little
more contrast for a change ;-) - May 03 2010

The separator between dolphin toolbuttons?
well, that isnt actually there, just abused
qss to make a 1px gap between them that
looks like a "separator", here all the
qss you need to make them look exactly
like that:

QToolButton { /* all types of tool button */
padding-left: 5px;
padding-right: 5px;
padding-top: 2px;
padding-bottom: 2px;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-bottom: -2px;
margin-right: 1px;
margin-left: -1px;
}

just you need ofc to make them raised
and metal in bespin conf.

That is kde but it's not plasma desktop,
the desktop is not publicly available and the author
asked me to stfu about it so that's what
I'm gonna do.

Hopefully plasma will be better in the
future with launcher support and all that,
I know there is a bugreport on it and
I was there voting for it too, dunno
if it passed. - Apr 25 2010

In short: you cant.

the css code on that side is only for
the tabs.

I have loaded a png as a bg that streches
over the whole main window.... ...so if
I for example change the font size of change
the font,
the bar that you see under the pathbar
will be missplaced etc, because different
fonts have different padding. - Mar 30 2010

:D haha!

Well that depends, is it working? :D

The thing is... I dont see a reason for
sharing bespin presets... is just a few
clicks in bespin conf dialog anyway.

Anyways, love your new project!
You really are a perfectionist.

I now understand what you mean about my
fugly fonts btw, as I was browsing kde
look at school with a "normal" screen...
...1280x1024.. on about 19", the fonts
look funny yeah.

But on my 23" 2048x1152 they look ok.
I guess the pixels are so small or something
that they look alright.

forgot to say, you only have to do this
for the backgrounds, not the elements painted
on the backgrounds eg tasks. and you dont
have to alter all background files... a lot
of them are the same, just alter one and

nice! 10 thumbs up!

I'm guessing there is no settings window
atm right?

also, I know it's prolly not even supposed
to work under this version:
Platform Version 4.4.64 (KDE 4.4.64 (KDE 4.5 >= 20100220))

but it does :D it just stretches over the
whole panel, which judging from your ss
isn't supposed behaviour.

however, I'm gonna use this taskbar, I have
been waiting too long for something like
this to come around not to make use
out of it!

one more thing, the "box" or "button"
doesn't appear in a running task when
starting it... just after re-starting
plasma... ...in kde trunk.

too bad they have to change the api
this much within plasma for each version.

you prolly use kde stable right?

The taskmanager seems to have launcher support, so what taskmanager is it in

I'm glad you think so man!

You are a great designer because you
make stuff that looks good.

I have seen your work done in inskape man,
I could never accomplish that, your skills
exceeds mine by miles... anyways :D what
I wanted to say is I'm flattered that you
like my work is all.

I hope you have a good weekend man!
