That mac like bar in bottom panel is simply a gnome panel with a particular background.
You can find this background in the LiNsta-GTK2/gtk-2.0/Panel folder (panel-bg-translucent-48.png or panel-bg-translucent-2-48.png or any other file). - Jul 17 2006
Thank you.
I'm working on a darker menu. But I must admit that I encounter some difficulties.
You can try what I made : in the gtkrc file, comment the line 1829, uncomment the line 1830. Comment the lines 1832 to 1834, uncomment the lines 1835 to 1837.
Now you can see what I mean : all the items are black. I would like them to be white, and I don't know how to do this.
Can you help me ? or anyone else ? - Jul 17 2006
Thank you, thank you very much ...
Some people should read more carefully what you have just written here ... - Jul 17 2006
Thank you.

About the darker field selected in the menu, to change its color, go in the menubar-custom.rc file.

You can see all the menubar styles.

To change the color when a menu is selected or hilighted, you have to modify the fg[PRELIGHT] and the fg[ACTIVE] values by what you want in the right menubar style.

That's all ;-) - Jul 17 2006
I'm working on it. So, be patient, it will be available soon. - Jun 29 2006
That's ok, I'm working on silver buttons. - Jun 29 2006
The GTK 2 theme is a little modified version of the "VistaBut" theme from roberTO21 (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=32227).

I changed the background color (clearer), and some pixmaps (especially for menus, menubars, toolbars and panels).

I'll publish it soon. - Jun 21 2006
Oh ... It's not my taste, but why not ? - Jun 21 2006
what do you want to say by "a copy that repected the GTK2 theme colours" ? - Jun 21 2006
I thought of it ... - Jun 21 2006
This Metacity theme is designed to be used with my LiNsta GTK 2 theme.
I'm working on it. So, be patient, it will be available soon. - Jun 21 2006
It's not a joke.

I'll post the GTK/Gnome theme soon. Be patient, I still have some toubles. - Jun 19 2006

Yes, send me your screenshot.

As I said in the description, this theme is optimized for 1024x768 screen.

I have to search in the doc how to have a generic position for all elements without the resolution problem.

All infos will be welcome ;-) - Nov 17 2005
Now, I'm working on a larger image. - Nov 13 2005

That "Vista like" theme is not a modified version of the alphacube theme.
It's totaly original.
What do you mean by "I sugest made a screenshoot totaly like Vista shots... put the menu and bar at the top and change color of bar to black (and transparent)" ? My menu and bar are at the top ... - Oct 29 2005

For other things (Metacity theme, GTK 2.x theme), I'll publish them soon.
But my GTK 2.x theme is like the alphacube 0.4 theme. - Oct 29 2005

I got it on a Longhorn/Vista screenshot found on the wincustomize site.
Then I extracted the start button with Gimp and I replaced the original gnome-main-menu.png icon in any app folder from my icons theme.

That's all ;-) - Oct 29 2005
