Nice one. Didn't consider it might find its way onto a phone. Interesting to know! ;)
-----------------
While I'm here, I'll just give an update on the ongoing theme work:
First off not gonna lie, the relentless march of Gnome 'development' (meaning more
brain melting tweaking) has meant I've not actually done much with it over the last few months.
I've had a bunch of tweaks/fixes all cued up for some time now, but the arrival of Gnome 4.2 means I have more adjustments to make again. Other distractions have also diverted my attention but I will be delving back in to it, as there will likely need to be versions up to 4.1 and also 4.2 most probably. Also, I have had to make additional PIXMAP only versions for my legacy GFX IGP due to gradients no longer drawing properly. It's a bit of a grind, but hey ho. ;o - Apr 01 2022
Erratum: Samsung LE46A656 model (not series 6). - Sep 02 2021
Absolutely no problem from my end. It is of course, a derivative theme itself and I'm GPL all the way. :) Additional custodians are welcome in my book, as I only upload here anyway lol.
As always, I'll try to keep this theme supported as best I can. It relies on a whole LOT of luck when it comes to CSS selectors/objects etc playing nice with layouts between applications.
Keeping the interface paradigm under control is a bit of a nightmare, but it is my daily driver for all my productivity needs. Fun fact: This theme has been created from a distance of around 7 feet away from a (now 10 year old) Samsung Series 6 HDTV. This is my gold standard. ;-)) - Sep 02 2021
Hello and thanks for staying on board. :)
I don't have anything like a git repo, just direct editing/updating using a text editor and gimp (no source).
Good news though, I've got a fair number of new tweaks, consistency adjustments and gnome application fixes in the pipeline. I have been (sporadically) very busy shoring things up with the theme set trying to route out anomalies where possible. Most are subtle by nature. Change log will reveal all when I (eventually) upload.*

* Note: Daily observation visual nuance 'skills' are a strange hit or miss thing.
"I looked, but I did not see." is ever present and impeding! - Aug 21 2021
Thanks! Enjoy. :-) - Jun 30 2021
I am currently experiencing broken theme gradients on my ageing Intel G43 graphics Core2Duo PC. I suspect the upgrade to Mesa 21 (from 20.3) might be the possible cause.
Deleting shader cache hasn't worked, so.... - Mar 17 2021
More optimisations are in the pipeline sometime soon(ish).
Message dialog titlebar - Fix, Shotwell Photo - top/bottom bar Adjustments/fixes, Mousepad searchbar - Adjustments, GTK Switch blended into header/titlebar, Gnome & MATE control center - Fixes, plus one or two other bits (small colour adjustments etc). - Feb 21 2021
Fixes done, enough whack-a-mole for now (the mallet broke). - Jan 18 2021
Backdrop state fixes need for above also. - Jan 18 2021
Post Update 'Stress Released' Observation: Right side margin error for gnome terminal. New fix coming soon. 'terminal-window > box > notebook scrollbar.vertical trough {
margin-right: -2px;' Needs to be -1px. - Jan 18 2021
Quick Update: More small fixes to come soon (after some more testing):
1) Reduced relative 'border madness' in Eye of Gnome properties side bar.
2) Work around for status bar top border colour anomaly in backdrop state.
3) A couple or so Xfce4 application tweaks/adjustments if I can work out how to..
4) Anything else before I lose interest and release again. ;) - Dec 17 2020
Thank you. There has since been a small xfwm4 window decoration border colour fix uploaded. - Dec 12 2020
Thank you for commenting. A new set is now available to download. ;) - Dec 11 2020
Thank you! More to come in the next weeks (sorry late reply)! - Oct 28 2020
Thanks and enjoy.
Further development is (lazily) ongoing. ;) - Oct 28 2020
New round of enhancements currently WIP:-
+Borders and UI surfaces (incl. child instances) will soon be utilizing
independent focused and backdrop colour states. Occasional apps won't
necessarily support this (or have bugs) even in GTK3.
GTK2 will be modified as best as possible to blend in.
+New funky companion theme variations will be included on next upload.
These will have colour accented borders for the focused state giving a 'Tron'
like appearance. Also, the theme background colour (not backdrop) will have a low level colour infusion to the normally black background surfaces on the focused window only (except for the Xfce desktop panels etc). Quite striking, not necessarily to all tastes. ;)
Summary:- Enhanced focus windows for existing theme. Additional themes twist added for fun. Also any little fixes/adjustments along the way.
ETA: As and when ever. :> - Oct 05 2020
Working (hard) towards replacement of the pulled update.
LibreOffice 7 threw a spanner in the works (intolerant to scrolled window margin changes). Progressing steadily... - Sep 24 2020
I think I'm done now, lol. My backlit wireless keyboard only supports white LEDs, but I can see what you mean. ;)
I do wonder if it is possible for authors to notify previous downloaders of updates without spamming the public comments box. Just a thought...
Anyway, enjoy 'til next time (GTK4?) ! - May 12 2020
Ver 3.3 is now available. New addition to the pack: Plasma Ultra!
Other improvements also apply. Really hoping this is it until GTK4. - May 11 2020
You're welcome and thanks for the idea. ;)
Never really considered purple before now. As an aside (for anyone else curious),
I attempted a red version of the theme but found it impossible to maintain the
characteristic look of the hover/prelight pix images. So no further plans for that now. - May 10 2020
Plasma Ultra awaits. Enjoy. - May 10 2020
Thanks for your comments. :)
I have begun experimenting with the widget hue to see what works.
A quite deep (cardinal) purple nudging more towards Violet seems quite nice, but setting the brightness to get the best balance between effect and backlit readability of app buttons using black icon colouring is a consideration. I might tinker with a red option too..
In any case hue changes aren't always straightforward as weird artefacts can show. Stay tuned as they say. ;)

Okay, last of the 'lock down' efforts for now. Ver 3.2 uploaded. Ties up a few loose ends. Enjoy. - Apr 19 2020
Hi Bon,
You are correct I can confirm this. I also tried a number of other dark themes and the result is the same. The black text colour remains throughout any theme change selection. Themes tried were: Numix-BLACK-xxx, Marwaita Manjaro Dar, Arc-BLACK, black-MATE, Greybird Dark.
Additionally some the other parts of PoL look pretty awful to be honest.
If you can find a theme that changes that text colour let me know and I'll take a further look. PoL should make a more compliant GTK version I think. - Apr 17 2020

MISSED ON THIS RELEASE: FIX SOUGHT!
Unfortunately because I use the Thunar location bar in toolbar (not path bar) mode,
I didn't notice that the toggle feature at the end of the path bar mode is a horridly long
button that looks a bit silly when hovered over. Will upload again when this is resolved one way or another. ;) - Apr 07 2020
Thank you, enjoy! - Apr 07 2020
Found the problem. Gajim message entry bar is bizarrely being affected by the vertical scrollbar statement:- (summarised)
scrollbar.vertical slider { min-height: 100px;}
I reproduced this in another theme (Equinox) as well. This doesn't make any sense to happen like this, so I consider this a Gajim bug of some sort. Reducing the 100px to 10px solves the issue but results in tiny scrollbar sliders for everything else, so no fix will be applied.
Thanks for reporting though. :) Strange one indeed. - Jan 09 2018
You're right. Oddly though, if you select a standard theme like Adwaita and then go back to Plasma the problem disappears and entry looks normal size thereafter. I will try to find out... - Jan 09 2018
Update: New theme version available (file '2018-3'). - Jan 03 2018
Make sure you have latest file '2018-3'. - Jan 03 2018
Thanks! Need to fix above silly issues though..
Stay tuned. - Jan 03 2018
Info Update: Refactoring of the widget CSS file is ongoing. Code tidy ups, reordering and optimising (I'm still guessing on some bits) to improve notably:
Check and Radio items have been image adjusted for better consistency across all states. Also now work correctly when window is backdropped on desktop.
Notebook tabs have been implemented more correctly for borders and now have a backdrop desaturated active tab indication.
I have increased the backdrop text brightness slightly (as planned above).
Changes are subtle, but were invoked due to strange scrolling issue in Exaile music player (new beta GTK3). Hope to upload soon(ish), dependent on my observations. :) - Dec 07 2017
Unfortunately I don't have those files anymore.
GTK 3.2+ is supported from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty) onwards, so unless you have good reason not to, consider upgrading. :) - Dec 07 2017
Addendum to the above: Not all applets are an issue.
System-load-monitor, Free-Space-Checker, Network-Monitor, Disk-Performance-Monitor have better border outline if tip above is used. - Nov 29 2017
Nice one. :)
Small tip. If you want better panel applet integration with the panel background, open panel preferences --> apperance --> background and select usr-> share-> themes-> Plasma Fire_> gtk-2.0-> Panel-> dark-bottom.png
HEADS-UP: I am starting to consider raising the text brightness a bit higher for backdrop windows so they can be read side by side with a focused window better but still discernible by state. Disabled text will remain as is.
Also, I'm considering having a gentle coloured all edges border around input text entry boxes to stand out better against button widgets. - Nov 29 2017
Welcome to the joy of dark themes. It is an eternal struggle. Dark against the light. This is the reality. You will have to delve into the world of CSS user styles to fight your good fight. I cannot help anymore now.
As an aside, your example photo (and URL) will show white text against that black background in those boxes. Just what I'd expect. For more options have a look here:- https://userstyles.org/
Dissect and modify. :)
- Oct 09 2017
Use this add-on to fix the input entry issue:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/text-contrast-for-dark-themes/?src=api

The sidebar works how I would expect it to. Black theme -> black sidebar.
Most of the time I am using css dark override via Stylish plugin anyway so..
Anyway, hope this helps. cheers. - Oct 09 2017
On my Ubuntu setup I installed Terminator but found no apparent issue as you describe. I use Xfce4-Terminal anyway, but they look the same regarding tabs, to me. - Jun 09 2017
Thank you. Theme owners are fickle beasts, always tweaking for that little extra evolution. :)
While I'm here, there is a small bug with the 'Fire' variant (I'll fix when additional changes are needed). When a window with a horizontal progress bar is backdropped (unfocused) it doesn't go from orange to monochrome as intended. Simply copy image file 'progressbar-backdrop-horiz.png' from either the blue or green variants into the 'Plasma Fire/gtk-3.0/darkelkements/' folder, over writing the existing one.
Enjoy. - Apr 05 2017
You're welcome to have a go yourself. ;)
I personally like the blinking. It is a key characteristic of the theme in my opinion. - Jan 07 2017
