Works like a charm, a temp monitor in the panel and configurable! - Next would be an option to add labels whith own font/color and hddtemp via " nc localhost 7634" ;-)

looks great! any chance to make it check Nvidia GPU can be added - that would be great (eg. via nvidia-smi) .. i personally prefer to see temp reading in panel instead of have a conky onscreen where apps cover it - in panel you see it all the time . ..

edit the KdmGreeterTheme.desktop and uncoment the line #Greeter=win8nolist.xml and comment the line Greeter=win8.xml to change the xml file. This will show up the user name field.

That desent work, uncoment the line #Greeter=win8nolist.xml and comment the line Greeter=win8.xml to change the xml file still shos the userlist - it seems like win8nolist.xml and win8.xml is the same file . . . - Mar 18 2014

i choose the "KDE" installation method

Cantata from repos work flawless - Mar 11 2014

Cantata builds without problems and installs fine but when trying to start it it emmedietly crash with the following message:
