Konqueror filemanagement fonts are in FileBrowsing->File Manager->Appearance.

Konqueror webbrowsing fonts are in WebBrowsing->Konqueror Browser->Appearance.

Great theme. Can anyone tell me how to give the desktop icons a totally different font than other items, so that the icon fonts are, say, verdana, but the other items at such as menus and task/toolbars have a different one?

That's a dumb post.
Try to make an OS which is half that good. Or just try to make an OS. You can't, so shut up. For this theme, it doesn't matters you like it or not, the point is to get KDE look like windows, and this worked. The author did this very well, and the fact that windows is crap or not/ugly or not doesn't matters.
Ow, and to the idiot who said "windows is crap", you'll certainly fail to make an OS, the question is if you'd get a theme like this done. - Jan 05 2002

Could you change the "Welcome" to "Greetings" or better still "Authorized Use Only!", there is legal precedent for avoiding this kind of language, if you ever want to procecute bad guys. "Welcome", implies an open invitation for them to crack you.

I have QNiX very nicely setup and installed on my computer, with just one minor problem: The kicker doesn't look good. The logout and lock buttons don't seem to have the standard decorations that make it look like a button. My kicker is on the bottom of my screen and is set to small, if that'll help...

Also, is it possible to add a help button next to the minimize/maximize/close buttons? I don't think QNX had this but it would be useful... Just make sure there is a way to disable it... - Jan 02 2002

Is it possible to make the taskbar buttons translucent? Or are those things just different critters entirely?

In a similar vein...bevel color. It would be cool if the bevel color could be based off the color showing through, like an outward bevel being brighter and and inward bevel being darker. Or something like that. Does the API allow for that without patching kicker?

Hmm, looks a lot like "another OS." (laugh to self) Seriously, the icons look very sharp. You have a knack for the understated look, something which is wanting in a lot of computer designs in general (take a look at XP for example. Does the desktop remind me of the acid-powered commercials? Yes, yes it does. :)

The arrow icons etc. do seem a mite reddish, but I think you can work with that. I'm not sure how at this point, but I think they can be fixed rather than discarded. - Dec 30 2001
