Sorry for the late reply. I will try modify the panel style so that the min height is 20 px. However, that depends on your fonts.

P.S: Even in Human theme you can't set the panel below 24px !!!

I will try to make it but no promises. - Mar 26 2008

I have my own collection of icons "Moomex icons" to better suit with this theme.

I forgot to drop Moomex-icon dependency.

I don't think it's appropriate to upload it to gnome-look since I did not make any of these icons.

Use NuoveXT or UbuntuStudio Icon sets instead. - Mar 26 2008

Thanks for your feedback.

There will be a new release soon with LOTS of features and bug fixes (Except for Firefox and OOo which have bugs I cannot resolve).

The new release will feature a FULL color scheme support ( you can even change the panel color ) - Mar 24 2008

COLOR SCHEME SUPPORT !!
Dude this is too much too fast.

Anyway this theme is AWESOME.

You may delete/comment these lines on panel.rc file:

class "*Tray*" style "panel"
class "*tray*" style "panel"
widget_class "*Tray*" style "panel"
widget_class "*tray*" style "panel"
widget "*TrayIcon*" style "panel"

This will fix a bug regarding some tray icons being one pixel down in the panel, and it won't screw anything up. - Jan 14 2008

Well, I can see you are using Moomex-Theme.

To get white fonts on firefox menubar:
Download (again) Moomex-Theme (0.6).
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Moomex-Theme?content=57063
Type in Terminal:
mv $HOME/.themes/Moomex/userChrome.css $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/chrome/

Restart firefox.

All menu style have a black background. How come the file manager has a blue one ?
and do you know that you can change the menu background by changing the tooltips colors through Appearances.

May I ask for a screenshot showing the firefox bug ? - Jan 11 2008
Vista Start Menu for Gnome Panel

Various Gnome Stuff by qb89dragon 381 comments

you have to edit the gtkrc file of the theme you using to display the apps icons on the menu.
On the gtkrc, find
gtk-button-images = 0
Replace with
gtk-button-images =1
Save the changes.

qb89dragon: Can you make your vista menu always display the apps icons, becuase many dark themes have "gtk-button-images" set to 0 - Jan 07 2008

Do you still have these problems when you apply other themes. (I mean dark themes with panel style)

For me Pidgin icon is fine, gnome-power-manager tray icon is misplaced (it's a known bug), and I don't have the system monitor problem you havin.

AFAIK, these issues are related to gnome-panel. - Jan 05 2008

I used clearlooks GLOSSY style but I changed it to CLASSIC so the theme can work on previous releases of ubuntu( e.g Dapper, Feisty ). I don't like it either, I guess am gonna change it back.

Make sure you have "gtk2-engines-pixbuf" installed and also the latest gtk2-engines (>=1:2.12.1)

The latest gtk2-engines is installed by default in Gutsy.

Since you have feisty, try this workaround:
Type in terminal:
gedit $HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

Find GLOSSY and replace with CLASSIC

Please report if this worked well with you.

You have to set up the menu button manually.

System tools->configuration editor->Apps->Panel->Objects
Find the object where 'object-type' is equal to 'menu-object'
check 'use_custom_icon'
set the value of 'custom_icon' to the path of the button. ( In this case "$HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/gtk-2.0/Panel/menu.png"

Moomex theme depends on Clearlooks engine . I think Aurora and Murrine are better engines than clearlooks and provide more options. The problem is these engines are not included by default in most distributions and therefore the theme won't be that much useful. - Dec 29 2007
