Hi, Is it possible to implement safari like flat bm tabs for Konq when using BM mode?
Further currently for some applications (Konq, konsole ..etc), kde is using icons on the tabs (What I mean is not action icons like close tab etc, but some other application icon). These icons make bagira's tabs/choosers look fat & bulky. Is there a hack to remove this icon from tabs/ choosers? - Aug 29 2004

1. Have you noticed the inner boaders of the Konq file manager (side bar and the other part) is not horizontally aligned in kde 3.3 and status bar more or less MS like. If you can hack this and make it Finder like (seamless) great.
2. If you can give seperate options for book mark tool bar to make hovered/ un-hovered much better. (Check the desktop calendar toolbar in kde 3.3 as it's behaving deferently than file manager tool bar.).
3. What about making Address combo right aligned in the tool bar when Konq in file manager mode :).

Can you please maintain single frame for each category, although it may contain more than one row. For example, in your screenshot, for Disk category you are maintaining 2 seperate frames for the 2 rows. Instead try to give frames to only seperate the categories. - Aug 16 2004

Can you add language support to this, so you dont have to hard code caption in the icons. Instead, seperate caption from icons and let kde to handle according to the language setting.
Here see, I'm using this ( http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=15174&vote=good&tan=84154768 ).

Sorry for the late reply and please consider this as just a request ( NOT a complain :> ).
If you refer to my screenshots here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=14924 , In my screenshot1 and screenshot3 I'm using the option "Use Rectangular buttons" Enabled and just notice my sidebar here. In my screenshot2 I've disabled the option "Use Rectangular buttons" and here sidebar looks better (for me). But I like your nice looking rectangular buttons. So, I prefer if you can give a selection option for the look of the side bar buttons as well. - Aug 03 2004

Is it possible to give the same look/effect that you have given to the tabs in 0.4d to Konqueror filemanager side bar buttons as well. With the new look & feel for the buttons in 0.4d, Konqueror filemanager side bar buttons giving a odd look.

Hi, Try to make button width same size. Because, If you try to add more buttons (Ex: help button etc) current set up does not seems to be good.
Note: I could spot out some annoying white pixels at the corners. A red pixel at the right top corner as well.
You have to work on refresh speed as well. When we are moving the window on top of another window, title bar refresh rate seems to be slow.
BWT, Keep up you work.

Try to make the corners more smooth so that whole window frame outer border will have seamless look. Optionally you can give a config option to specify the button height/s (worth to include in this deco) and title bar height as well. Keep it up...Good Luck. - Jul 29 2004

Hi, I like to point out some minor issues & add my wish list as follows.
1. Deco: Comic frame: Corners of the comic frame color not matching with the frame ,when enabled. This is very useful for the users who's not having drop shadows. Comic frame could be improved to give more 3d look. When comic frame enabled buttons are coming beyond the frame it seems (1-2 pixels).
2. Style: Nice to have 3d looking taskbar. Further curved taskbar corners when they are on the top of the screen. ( http://uk.geocities.com/ezammi/Capture_2.jpg, http://uk.geocities.com/ezammi/Capture.jpg )
3. Style: Nice to have good lloking replacement for trobber ( "EYE" here : http://uk.geocities.com/ezammi/Capture_5.jpg ; This is a WMP skin ;) ).
4. Deco: Title bar icons could be given somewhat sunken, dropshadowed look.
5. Nice to have sunken look in toolbar buttons as well (http://images.appleinsider.com/images/tigerdp1findersearch.jpg ) .
6. Performance, Performance ......... :)

Good Luck - Jul 15 2004

Hi, I like to know that is there any hack to keep "Back" & "Forward" toolbar buttons seamless (with zero gap between them) - like os x(http://images.appleinsider.com/images/tigerdp1findersearch.jpg). I got the icons but doesn't know how to keep them very closer, with zero gap.
BTW: If you need I can send you all the icons/graphics to make the toolbar in the above screenshot (even search box ;)

Win Deco: My bottom part of the window still not get this 3D look.

Good Luck.....! - Jul 09 2004

Condradulations Thomas, Now I can see that this style is terribly stable and a huge set of fans gathering around. By the time I just want to know that is it possible to colorize the BM (Example: Yellowish BM/ Dark BM/ Greeny BM etc). Further more is it possible to get the Window background color from color scheme and colorize the BM.
