I kept silent for actually a couple of years and I want to assure you I didn't actually ignore your post. Every now and then I was finding myself thinking over the point you had made and finally decided to respond.
Long story short, the next version will fix this overlooked detail. It's going to be Slackware Linux i.e. the official distribution name.
Thanks for pointing this out. Your message didn't fall on deaf ears ;) - Aug 15 2008

Digikam by wjarosz 7 comments
The best one around currently.
It should (and I really mean it) be shipped by default with digiKam.
The default themes suck and look plain and ugly. I'd rather replace all those sloppy themes that come with digiKam by default with only this one of yours.
I also dare to suggest that you replace single image page template with something more like... something that looks pretty similar to the gallery listing template (index.html).
JS is cool and all but it sorta breaks the consistency of the design. I'd love a simple page with a pic in the center of a page (both horizontal and vertical alignment).
Perhaps a scaled up version of a single box (with/-out a number where a thumbnail pic is placed) you get to see on index.html would do.
Anyway, this is the greatest digiKam HTML Gallery theme currently and you've done it just well :) - Jun 03 2008

Jeez, guys you must make up your mind until it's late! It looks bad and I felt like letting you know this. So, please, take this post easy and reconsider the use of QT4 generic widgets.
It's cool that QT4 allows for such "good" looking user interfaces but such an interface will only look really good if images were designed by someone who's pretty good at designing non-standard looking interfaces.
That what I can see in the screenshots doesn't look like designed good at all! - Mar 20 2008

As far as I can remember there is (used to be) a similar superkaramba theme that offered a cd case without controls and informational text block?
Did you make fork off that theme or are you the original developer of the theme and decided to extend it with controls and info block?
I'm looking for that "just cd case" version of the similar superkaramba theme. Could anyone please remind me how it is (was) called? - Mar 07 2008

I have added both links in the download links section so people could easily discover your contribution.
I have also added support for Slackware 12.0.0 as well as have done some spelling and grammar checks and corrected my contacts information.
So, if you feel like providing support for Slackware package management friendly tgzs for this little project you are welcome.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I've also added you to Contributors list.
I hope you don't mind that, eh? ;)
Thank you again for providing your contributions. Good work. - Sep 08 2007
Do you plan to add support for photobucket service?
It's like Flickr and Photobucket are two major players in the game and many users would benefit from a feature that would allow one to switch between these two.
Anyway, nice work.

I thought you'd like to have a look at the screenshot I'd taken for you: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l72/xtrue_till_deathx/kchm-kio-issue.jpg
Using KDE 3.5.4, kchmviewer 2.6 configured with these options:
./configure --prefix=$KDEDIR --with-kde --disable-debug
Standalone viewer works just fine while KIO-slave acts that weird.
Is it a known bug?
I like working with KIO-slaves and resorted to using kchm for that purpose.
If you could fix the bug kchmviewer would be kicking kchm's ass pretty HARD (no offence guys, I'm just kidding :) )
Thanks for the great contribution anyway!
Looking forward to see an updated and fixed version of kchmviewer.
Kind regards. - Dec 05 2006

this is the path to store Konqueror's servicemenus; kim too.
You may safely put the `kim*' files into the folder and try to use them.
Make sure that the copied kim* files have the same owner mode and permission values as the other files in the folder. This may be vital. - May 19 2006

- if KMenu contains an odd number of menu entries, one can see a "gap" in the juxtaposition so that "tile" and "kside" images are torn apart;
- if KMenu entries contains an even number of menu entries it seems to look just as it's supposed to.
I'll look into it as soon as I find some time.
I'm sorry for a possible inconvenience, but look forward for fixes. I hope the will happen soon :) - May 03 2006

I've been using it for an almost a year, if not more than that, and when I was redefining the package contents today and did revert to standard KDE gear it looked for me veeery alien =)

Yes, Finck's right. This image looks incomplete and you should (if you want/can, of course) take some more pain to work on it and make something complete and stunning :)
> unter KDE ist der Metal-Look (welche Variante auch immer) der einzig echt gute.
I agree, Metal-look is a very attractive theme and KDE unfortunatelly lacks it today. There's GNOME's very nice variation of metal theme GNOMetal. It's got very nice set of icons, I love it much, but it never seemed to easily adopt it for KDE. Although, I enjoied that theme while I've been using XFCE (but it's GTK+2 based and it perfectly skins itself into GNOMEtal)... Well, I just want to say I miss KDE-Metal environment :) - Aug 11 2005
