This was discovered to be a problem with unsermake and svn2dist. I've uploaded a new packge to sourceforge that doesn't use unsermake to generate the package.

Anyone who's downloaded and doesn't have unsermake, PLEASE REDOWNLOAD.

Sorry about the problems. - Aug 04 2005

the common way to get around gcc 4.0 problems is to use gcc 3.2, which is also shipped with FC4 (it's in a package called "compat-gcc-32").
Use:

The window decoration seems a bit dated, and you're still using the older superkaramba. The latest version has a better looking systray icon and interface. - Jul 29 2005

This decoration is using the default configure script that is used in KDE. What distro are you using? I may be able to make it work for you, but I need more info about your setup and compiler version.

I remember the early days when Style Clock didn't have calendar support. That really bugged me, but now I'm revisisting it. Mostly because of the bindings and things that will be going into Plasma. One thing, which I've not looked into at all in your code, is why there is no window decoration around the calendar when it pops up from style clock, but there is for the old clock? - Jun 13 2005

KDE 4.0 where to go

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by borisb 13 comments

There are already a few places these discussions are taking place. Plasma discussions can be found on the kde-artists.org forum here:
http://kde-artists.org/main/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,48/expv,0/board,5.0

More developer type discussions are being done on a mailing list here:
https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/panel-devel

Post ideas, be creative, add to the discussions, mockups are great if you can make them. Be part of the future, and Plasma will be everything we want it to be!

Why not have a toggle option that you can enable the new tooltips that are in kicker for 3.4 for the files descriptions as well?
I kinda like the white rounded tool tips that are ion 3.4, and then we wouldn't have yet another tool tip class.

Your menu code doesn't seem right to me. I took a quick look over it, and mySetMenuConfigOption() is spitting out warnings about:

The top border of the text mime type icon looks to be wider than the bottom border. It's probably an illusion that I'm seeing b/c of the gradient being use.
The other thing I'd suggest is the inner box on the home icon be more square or follow the borders along the rooftop. - May 26 2005

The one thing I saw that this is _good_ for, is accessibility. Otherwise, it takes away a users ability to have "free reign" over the desktop with his/her mouse. Changing that behavior, by default, probably isn't a 'Good Thing'. - May 20 2005

Well, you could do that, but my test using convert from ImageMagick doesn't pull all the images out of a animated .gif very well. That being said, each .gif would have however many png's as there are frames for each animated gif.
